        Sewer Improvement Work Starts In Crossgar

          th May 2011. The work, which represents an investment of £165,000 by NI Water, will involve the installation of a new storm sewer along Downpatrick Street. This work will meet current and future development needs in the area and will reduce the risk of out of sewer flooding. NI Water’s Project Manager for the scheme, Davy McGrath said,xa0The installation of this new storm sewer is good news for the local community as it will improve the local infrastructure and reduce the risk of flooding along Downpatrick Street. “The work will start in Crossgar on the 30th May.xa0It is anticipated that the workxa0along Downpatrick Street will commencexa0on the 14th June. The work will be completed in sections to minimize disruption for the public, and a traffic management system will be in place.
