Newcastle Arts And Crafts Business Painted Earth Goes Up In The World
Newcastle based business Painted Earth is making space for more with a brand-new, second floor expansion featuring more original art, contemporary crafts, eye catching jewellery and quirky gifts in its Main Street premises and online.
The thriving shop is about to expand, adding a new gallery space to showcase the best of local and Ireland wide artists, with more room for browsing and special events.
So, the new look Painted Earth will pack in even more fabulous products from across the island and, of course, from the foot of the Mournes.
Owner Danielle Gorman, who has been running the business since 2021, says that the expansion was always something they wanted to deliver. She said: “The opportunity to expand and create extra space for a brand-new gallery showcasing the best of local and island wide artists was perfect timing.
“We had started to outgrow our small shop and the time was right to expand the number of fabulous arts and crafts available to our customers in store and online. Our new Gallery space will host dedicated events with key artists and provide plenty of opportunity to relax and enjoy our new browsing space.
“We take pride in sourcing exceptional handmade crafts and artwork from talented artists and makers across the island of Ireland. We spend time getting to know all our creators and work hard to make sure we are showcasing the rich creativity and heritage of our region.
“Our carefully curated giftware and unique greeting cards mean we’re supplying a diverse range of products to our customers online and in person.”
