New Adult Workshops in Down Arts Centre.
‘Makeup Consultation’ with Lynsey Hakin is the first of the new workshops at Down Arts Centre. This is a one-day workshop and runs from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 20 May and costs £45/£40 concession. Lunch is included in the cost.
This workshop aims to help people of all ages improve their confidence in applying make-up for both professional and social situations. The focus will be on choosing the best colours of make-up for the individual in order to create a look that enhances natural features, as well as minimise imperfections.
Participants are asked to bring their own make-up to the session so as they can learn to work with what they already have, as well as try new colours.
‘Infinity Scarf’ with Elaine McCombe on Saturday 27 May is a unique opportunity for participants create a bespoke scarf. Infinity scarves are scarves with no visible join and are long enough to twist around the neck twice. Made with Merino wool fibres and decorated with silk, this scarf is warm, stylish and easy to wear.
The workshop runs from 10.30am to 3.30pm and costs £45/£40 concession. Materials and lunch are included in the price.
