Margaret Ritchie, Member of Parliament for South Down, has congratulated Glen and Regina Mahon for the very prestigious honour of winning the NI Foster Carers of the Year award.
Ms Ritchie said: “This award is a rightful recognition of the unrelenting work, dedicated care and generosity Glen and Regina have provided to many children in need over the years.
“In providing a safe and loving home, Glen and Regina have allowed their foster children to grow up in a warm, compassionate, secure environment. I have no doubt their kindness and charity have led to the improvement and betterment of many lives.
“In light of this wonderful achievement, I have placed an Early Day Motion in Parliament congratulating Glen and Regina and to acknowledge this honour.”
