Mourne Coastal Walkways at Dundrum Now Open

dn_screen The new Down District Council tourist walking trail attractions stretch from Widows Row along the shoreline behind Dundrum GAC pitch and along the old railway line out to Dundrum Inner Bay tourist amenity site and parking area. “I welcome the opening of the new Mourne Coastal and Down walkways in Dundrum which already are attracting alot of walkers and visitors to the new tourist walking trail attractions,” said Councillor Clarke. “The £270,000 investment into the new walking routes at each side of Dundrum village which has been funded by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board will greatly add to existing walking routes in Dundrum. “I am very pleased that the new Down District Council walkways will not only be a popular public amenity for Dundrum but will also attract walkers and tourists from far and wide and help the local economy.”  ]]>
