Millisle Shopkeeper Robbed By Man Wielding Iron Bar

dn_screenDetectives are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery in the Main Street area of Millisle last night, Saturday 9 January.

It was reported that at around 10.15pm a woman, aged in her 40’s, was walking to her car after locking up her shop. As she approached her car she was confronted by a male carrying a metal bar. He threatened the woman before making off with her mobile phone in the direction of Moss Road. The woman was not injured but left shaken by her ordeal.

Detective Constable Phillip Skelly is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has any information that could assist with the investigation to contact Detectives at Bangor Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
