Men’s Mental Health And Wellbeing Event Coming Soon

The South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust has organised a Men’s Mental Health & Wellbeing Event which will take place on 11 November 2014 from 9.15am – 1.00pm in La Mon House Hotel. The event is free to attend and is aimed at men or anyone working with men. The theme for the seminar will focus on the ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ which is aimed at improving health and wellbeing.

dn_screen all have a sense of when we are mentally and physically well but sometimes we need a gentle nudge to look after ourselves to keep well. The New Economics Foundation has assessed the latest scientific evidence and created a simple set of actions to improve wellbeing in everyday life. By adopting the ‘Five ways to Wellbeing’ we can take responsibility for maintaining good mental health and wellbeing.

During the seminar there will be a range of expert speakers focusing on each of these five ways.
