South Down MLA (SDLP) and Chair of the All Party Group on Muscular Dystrophy, Karen McKevitt, has braved the cold and taken on the ice bucket challenge to raise awareness and money for neuro-muscular conditions.
Ms McKevitt was nominated by Muscular Dystrophy sufferer Michaela Hollywood and took on the icy water at Warrenpoint Park after reading Michaela’s heartfelt blog post on the subject.
