McGrath Welcomes Minister’s Assurance On Baby Scans

McGrath welcomes progress on baby scans.

SDLP Health Spokesperson, Colin McGrath has welcomed the good news from the Health Minister that couples can now attend baby scans together.

The South Down MLA commented: “I was glad to receive an assurance today from Health Minister, Robin Swann MLA that he has reviewed the current regulations to allow couples to attend baby scans together.

“This is very welcome news and will provide huge comfort to families across the North, who were distressed at the thought they could not be there for this milestone moment.

“I want to thank those families who contacted me to share their stories and thank the Minister for Health for listening to these calls.”
