Man In Newry Court On Cannabis Charges

Cannabis has been seized by the police in Dromore and a man is to appear in court on a number of charges.

A 31-year-old man has been charged with a number of offences, including cultivating cannabis, possession of a class B controlled drug, and possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply.xa0

He is due to appear at Newry Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Wednesday 22 May.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.xa0

The charges are in relation to a cannabis factory uncovered in Princes Street, Dromore, this morning, 21 May.
