dn_screenInspector Glenn Campbell, North Down and Ards PSNI, xa0said: “Police can confirm that a man has died following an incident involving a light aircraft at Newtownards Airfield shortly before 11.30am this morning, Tuesday 7 April.

“Air Accident Investigation Branch have been informed and will be the lead agency in this investigation.

“There are no further details available at this time.”
