Man Arrested Following Ballynahinch Incidents Say Police

Police arrest man following burglary incidents in Ballynahinch

Detectives investigating a number of incidents in the Ballynahinch area overnight between Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th February have charged a man to appear at court.

The man, aged 43, has been charged with a number of offences including burglary with intent to steal, attempted burglary, going equipped for burglary and handling stolen goods.

He is due to appear at Downpatrick Magistrates Court on Monday 26thxa0February. As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

As part of the investigationxa0items including a circular saw, two power drills, an electric sander and a rucksack with tools and drill bits have been recovered and detectives would ask local residents to check their premises and vehicles for any items that may have been taken.

And they are asked to report anything missing to police on 101 quoting reference number 78 24/02/24.
