Downpatrick children are set for a week of fun and games at Downpatrick Presbyterian Church’s holiday club!

Based on Scripture Union’s Rocky’s Plaice holiday club material, the week will be full of creative teaching, games, craft, songs, prayers and Bible stories.

The holiday club runs from10.30a.m. to 1.00p.m. from 17 -21 August and is open to all children who have completed P1-P7. It is free, but children need to be registered by an adult on their first day.

Leader of the holiday club, Hazel Lynas, excited about the event, said: “I’m really looking forward to the holiday club. Previous clubs have been great. This year’s club is set in a special Chip Shop church!

“It will be great fun, and we’ll learn a lot and we hope many children come along to take a table at Rocky’s Plaice to find out more about Peter and how knowing Jesus changed his life.”
