Last Call for Entries for Beyond Business Awards

beyond_screen Any business based in Down District canxa0enter one or more of eight award categories, which include Best New Business (sponsored by Crossgar Food Service), Best Export Business (sponsored by Invest NI), Best Use of IT, Best Social Enterprise, Training and People Development (sponsored by SERC), Employee of the Year and the Dermot Curran Young Achiever Award. A new award category for this year is Best Innovation (sponsored by McCadden). We are looking forward to seeing entries that highlight the extraordinary diversity and talent in our district. “We are particularly keen to see entries from businesses who have never entered before and we hope that the new category ‘Best Innovation’ will attract some of the well established businesses that make up the backbone of our business community. “We are especially delighted to announce local steel stockholding company, Walter Watson as our main Business Week sponsor and welcome award supporters Invest NI, Crossgar Food Service,xa0 McCadden and the South Eastern Regional College (SERC) aboard for what promises to be the best Beyond Business Awards yet.” Mark Bleakney, Invest NI’s Southern Regional Manager said: “Invest NI is committed to working with Down District Council to ensure the Beyond Business Awards continue to go from strength to strength.
