Knife Robbery in Ballynahinch Off License

A robbery in a Ballynahinch off license has left a member of staff badly shaken.xa0

Detectives in Downpatrick are appealing for information following the armed robbery on the Drumaness Road area of the town on the evening of Saturday 17 November.

At approximately 9pm, a young man armed with a knife entered an off licence. He took two bottles of wine and demanded money from the till. No money was taken as another customer xa0entered the shop and he fled with the two bottles. The staff member was unhurt but upset by the ordeal.

The robber is described as being in his mid to late teens, approximately 5’6″ tall and of a very slim build. He was wearing a black jacket, grey hooded top and dark coloured tracksuit bottoms.
