Kilmore Rec  0 1  Orangefield

Robert Adams Park was bathed in sunshine as Kilmore entertained Orangefield in their last game of the season. With not a lot at stake as neither side were at full strength and both teams struggled with ball control on a hard, uneven pitch writes Cyril McKinney.

The first half was evenly contested and neither keeper was seriously tested with both defences on top in the first half-hour. The home keeper had to be alert to smartly deal with shots on target from Stuart  Nelson on 31 minutes and Luke Wilson on 41 minutes to keep the score level at half-time.

Into the second half and it was Orangefield who looked the more likely to score and as they dominated the play they eventually found the net with a clinical finish from eight yards out from Kyle Woods on 72 minutes. Kilmore struggled to threaten the visitors goal and the game petered out in the evening sunshine with Orangefield in the ascendency.
