Kilcoo kids set for their upcoming council election

The Party’s South Down MP said: “I was delighted to visit St Malachy’s PS recently to meet with pupils and staff.
“An amazing bunch of talented, young people full of lots of questions around the way in which elections work and what they can do to prepare for their upcoming one in a few weeks.
“We spoke on the role the school children here played in helping Sinn Féin in our successful campaign of reducing the speed limit to 30MPH through the village and the importance of working together in a team to improve things for everyone across our community.
South Down MLA added: “It was uplifting to listen to the students speak of their ideas and aspirations for a better future.xa0
“Sinn Féin’s wishes to build a better future for our young people and ensure they have the opportunities to grow and to thrive.xa0
“Working together in an Executive that listens to our young people and acts to support them must be a priority.
