Wrap up warm and join the Cancer Fund for Children for a wonderful Winter Woolly Walk this February in Tollymore Forest Park.

Gather your friends and family, and shake off those winter chills with a lovely walk together in the fresh air. Even better, by taking part and fundraising you’ll be making a difference to local children with cancer, and their families.

Join A Winter Woolly Walk near you

 with eight walks taking place at stunning locations across the country. There is sure to be a Winter Woolly Walk near you on 17 February so join in with the family-friendly fun

Pictured is Cassie McGeehan (centre) and her family. The McGeehan’s were supported by Cancer Fund for Children when Cassie was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2010. Thankfully Cassie is doing well now, and the family look forward to stepping out once again at their local Winter Woolly Walk.

Each walk ranges from 2- 4 miles. Walkers are free to stroll leisurely or can walk as briskly as you wish. It’s all about having fun together as a family, getting out in the fresh air and enjoying the wonderful wintry scenery.

 Refreshments for adults and children will be provided at the end of each walk, as well as some fun family activities.

Registration is at 10am, with the walks kicking off at 10.30am.
