Who is the Programme for?
Thexa0 programmexa0 isxa0 openxa0 toxa0 allxa0 businessesxa0 inxa0 thexa0 Councilsxa0 ofxa0 Craigavonxa0 Armagh, Banbridge, Newry & Mourne and Down who are prepared to commit the time of thexa0 ownerxa0 orxa0 significantxa0 managerxa0 (asxa0 longxa0 asxa0 theyxa0 canxa0 makexa0 strategicxa0 decisions within the business) to examine their financial position and make decisions on their finance related to their business objectives.
What is the time commitment?
Each Programme will run for 18 months. Between January 2013 and September 2014xa0 youxa0 willxa0 thenxa0 havexa0 accessxa0 toxa0 expertxa0 Masterclasses, threexa0fullxa0 daysxa0 one-to-one mentoring with financial and industry experts and the opportunity to get involved in “Meet the Investor” events where you can pitch your business for investment fromxa0 privatexa0 investment,xa0 Invest NIxa0 and/orxa0 thexa0 banks. xa0Thexa0 onexa0 to onexa0 mentoringxa0 will involve face to face meetings as well as follow up report development/ market researchxa0 etc,xa0 remotexa0 supportxa0 throughxa0 ourxa0 onlinexa0 privatexa0 consultancyxa0 support, emails etc.
Who is managing the Programme?
The programme will be delivered by Lestas Consulting Ltd. We are a Management Development Company who has worked with Northern Ireland SME’s for over a decadexa0 toxa0 implementxa0 practicalxa0 newxa0 businessxa0 systems,xa0 developxa0 associate relationships, draw down financial support and examine new markets. We bring withxa0 usxa0 axa0 teamxa0 ofxa0 financexa0 andxa0 investorxa0 expertsxa0 whosexa0 experiencexa0 rangesxa0 from developingxa0 procurementxa0 systemsxa0 forxa0 newxa0 marketsxa0 toxa0 applyingxa0 forxa0 investment through a number of local and EU funding mechanisms.

Collective Master Classes delivered across the Council areasFinance and Business experts assigned to mentor you for three days, on an individual basis, at a time and place convenient to you. Development and implementation of an individual ‘Finance Investment Plan’ to present at bespoke “Meet the Investor” events.
Opportunities to get a better understanding of your financial position and what public and private funds are available through a series of three Masterclasses. Access to Investors including Invest NI, Equity Finance and the Banks,xa0 who will advise and assist you during the programme.
Access to other SME’s and relevant case studies to help you develop and implement your plansxa0 Receive an Endorsed Award from the Institute of Leadership and Management on successful completion of the programme.

How much will it cost?xa0
The programme is part-financed by the five Councils, Invest Northern Ireland and part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the European Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for Northern Ireland!”. Your participant contribution is only £100 + Vat which is less than five per cent of the actual programme cost for each participant.
