The Killyleagh skiff building group who are part of Down Coastal Rowing will be giving a talk and a power point presention on the progress of the build this Friday lunchtime in the Library in Killyleagh to whet your appetite and on Saturday they will be throwing open the doors of the building shed at the Smugglers Table to let you actually see how things are developing.
If you are interested in this community project which is being rolled out around the lough please come along? Everyone is welcome – you don’t need experience and there is a job for everyone at every level!
Killyleagh is going to build and run its own 22-foot Skiff. It’s a chance for anyone in the community to take up a new activity, get fit, learn new skills and experience the pleasure of building a boat for the community.
