Calling all dog lovers! Get ready for a tail-wagging event, hosted by Forever Mournes, that’s packed with fun for the whole family.

Taking place at Silent Valley Mountain Park from 1–4pm on Sunday 31 August 2025, there will be engaging demonstrations, interactive activities, as well as plenty of dog-inspired fun that’s sure to captivate both you and your furry friends.

Stop by the market stalls filled with treats, toys and accessories for your dog.

Don’t forget to stop by our doggie caricaturist for a quirky, one-of-a-kind portrait of your furry best friend.

With live music from The Popplestones to keep your toes tapping, face painting for the kids, and captivating demos by The Dog Campus (including scent detection and mantrailing), you’ll find fun and heartwarming moments around every corner.

Formed in April 2023, Forever Mournes brings together Mourne Heritage Trust, National Trust, Northern Ireland Water, and Woodland Trust NI to collaborate on protecting and enhancing this cherished landscape.

Through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), these organisations, alongside Newry Mourne and Down District Council, Forest Service NI and NI Environment Agency as observers, have committed to working together for the sustainable future of the Mournes.
