Independent Slieve Croob Councillor Patrick Clarke has welcomed the repair of a leaking water mains which had been running water along the Carnreagh Road, Drumaroad.
He saaid: “Following reports of a leaking water mains near a laneway along the Carnreagh Road, Drumaroad, I raised the matter immediately with Water NI following some concerns about running water.
“I am pleased that the Leakage Department of Water NI have now confirmed that they attended this site and found a defect on the mains water supply. The defect was subsequently repaired on the Carnreagh Road.
“I would like to thank Water NI for their prompt attention in repairing the leaks.”
