Sinn Féin Cllr Roisin Howell has called on residents of Castlewellan to remain calm after a series of acts of anti-social behaviour in the past weeks.
The Castlewellan Cllr said:xa0 “Over the past number of days, a number of Castlewellan residents have contacted me and expressed their annoyance at a series of acts of Anti-Social behaviour. This has included doors being kicked and doorbells being rung in the middle of the night.
” I would encourage residents not to directly intervene themselves as this may only further escalate the situation.
” Instead, I would call on anyone affected to report it to the police by calling 101 or phoning crime stoppers on 0800 783 0137.’
