Speaking after the event Mr Wolsey said: “I was very impressed with how enthusiastic the class were about the industry, I would be more than happy for the students to undertake a work placement with the hotel. I was delighted to come to SERC again, and I feel it helps the students develop an early understanding of the hospitality industry.
“I was really excited about hosting the talk and sharing my knowledge.”
Hospitality and Catering lecturer Michelle McCarthy said: “We’re really pleased that Bill agreed to talk to the students and I’d like to thank him once again. He gave a really inspiring talk to the students explaining the various career opportunities available in the hospitality industry. He also shared his experiences of running a business including the highs and lows.
“It’s only with encouragement from entrepreneurs like Bill that we can help develop a passion for this extraordinary industry.”
