Hollymount Rural Community Association Road Run

[/caption] “Over the summer they run a couple of these, ” said Rudy Tate, committee member. “Most of the participants are from the local area around Hollymount and it is a nice social occasion where we meet in the Hollymount Hall afterwards and have some tea and buns and catch up with the gossip. “We fundraise for charities and recently had a pipe band show on. The Association tries to provide some activities of interest for the local community and we have a dance class in the hall on a Thursday evening. “The fundraising for this evening is for Marie Curie Cancer Care,” he added. As the tractors and cars gathered, the evening sun was shining and everyone was looking forward to the run.]]>
