Following on from last weekend’s disappointing defeat away to Armagh, Hinch controlled the game throughout to secure their fourth win of the season.

Under soggy conditions, Hinch ran in ten tries with Cameron Patterson scoring the first hat trick from the wing and Daniel Hewitt scoring twice to go along with his five conversions.

Other scorers came from Captain Morgan Croskery, Matthew Reynolds and centres Niall McAllister and Damian McMullan, who got a brace.

Despite the score line, the game remained competitive throughout, with Ballyclare competing in all areas. However, the home side seized upon all the chances that came their way in both halves, while putting on a solid defensive display.
