Hinch Rugby Round Up For 23rd November 2019

Hinch Club Notes by James Kirk.

Andy Simpson’s third XV continue to gather form as they head into a crucial run of fixtures. They thumped Carrick 2nds by 52 points to 10 as a warmup to the Crawford Cup clash with Ballyclare and a top of the table League clash with Rainey 2nds. A core of vastly experienced players such as Chris Stevenson, Jimmy Gillespie and Aaron Samuel continue to have a big influence on the side and they will be ready for whatever is thrown at them over the next few weeks.

The Fourths had a great home victory over Dungannon 2s with Sean Sweeney impressing in a narrow 14-7 comeback win.

The Christmas family lunch is booked in for Sunday 8th of December with all the usual fun and a visit from Santa. For tickets contact Nadine Kirk.

Youth Training continues at 7.30pm on Wednesdays. All players welcome at U12 U14 and U16 levels. No experience necessary.  The U14s and U16s travel to Larne this weekend hoping to continue their excellent start to the League programme.

Mini rugby continues on Saturday mornings from 9.30-11am. Boys and girls from P1 – Yr8 are all welcome, with training run for each age group in their school year. Mini rugby news is posted weekly on the club Facebook page: www.facebook.com/ballynahinchrfcofficial. For more details contact Clifton Quinn – Mini Convenor on 07501228045.
