Health Campaigners To Attend Stormont Debate on Downe A&E

dn_screenA group of local hospital campaigners will travel to Stormont late on the afternoon of Tuesday 14xa0January 2014 in order to attend the adjournment debate arranged by Mr Sean Rogers MLA in support of the retention of 24 hour accident and emergency at the Downe, a service which has been “temporarily” reduced since 4xa0January. Local MLA’s of all parties are expected to speak passionately on the matter.xa0 Health is a “devolved” matter.xa0 It is a responsibility of thexa0 NI Assembly and the Executive.
