Hazzard Welcomes £270,000 Investment To Lecale Scools

dn_screenSinn Féin MLA Chris Hazzard has welcomed an investment of more than £270,000 for primary schools in the Lecale area.

The South Down MLA said:xa0″I welcome the investment of £274,150 by the Department of Education for two schools in the Lecale area.

“St Mary’s Primary School in Dunsford will receive £155,372 for a new reception area and St Malachy’s Primary School, Kilclief will benefit from £118,778 for school improvement works.

“This funding will allow both schools to continue to provide top-class education to our children and young people.

“I want to congratulate the staff, parents, pupils and Boards of Governors of both schools and wish them continued success in the future.”
