Hazzard Encourages Attendance At First Flight Wind Consultation

SOUTH Down MLA Chris Hazzard (Sinn Féin) has encouraged local people to come along and have their say at the second round of consultations being carried out by First Flight Wind regarding plans to build off-shore wind farms off the County Down coast.dn_screen

“I would encourage all interested parties to come along and voice any opinions, concerns or support they have for the project and ensure that they are heard and their views taken on board before it is too late to do so.

“I welcome the measures being taken by First Flight Wind to ensure that the public and the residents in the local area are fully consulted in their plans and I hope that what is voiced will be taken into account when final decisions are made.”

Consultation days are taking place between 10am and 8pm on the 10xa0September in Newcastle Presbyterian Church and on 12xa0September in the Great Hall, Downshire Estate, xa0Downpatrick.
