South Down Sinn Féin MLA Chris Hazzard has congratulated St Peter’s GAA Warrenpoint on winning the Ulster Immediate title at the weekend in Armagh.
Mr Hazzard said: “I want to congratulate the Cumann Pheadair Naofa Club on winning the Ulster Immediate title. This is a major achievement not only for the club but also for the entire Down GAA community.
“This coveted title will be pride of place in Warrenpoint and I look forward to following their All Ireland ambitions and watching the club build on this success in the years ahead.
“The Gaels of Warrenpoint can be very proud of not only the team but the entire Club including the committee, mentors and coaches of all the clubs teams. The hard work of all these people over the years has been rewarded by the winning this Ulster title.”]]>
