Hazzard Congratulates Down Teams

Sinn Féin MLA Chris Hazzard has congratulated Down Ladies and Camogs on winning all Ireland titles last year. Speaking after the civic reception in the Canal Court Hotel in honour of the winning teams Mr Hazzard said: “The Down teams need to be congratulated on their achievements and the enjoyment they have brought to the GAA community in Down. “It is not only the players who have risen to the challenge but also the management, training staff and players partners and families who gave up their time to see the girls fulfil their potential. “Down GAA is growing year on year and I have no doubt that we will see further success in the months ahead from the variety of teams who represent this county in such a proud manner.”
