Greencastle Residents Meet Neighbours from Louth

GREENCASTLE xa0Area Residents Group member Sean Cunningham recently gave a group of visitors from Greenore, Co Louth, a talk about working and living on Carlingford Lough.

Sean, whoxa0worked on the Lough for over 40 years as a pilot and as the attendant to the Hawbowline Lighthouse, provided the visitors with stories aboutxa0his experience of working and living on thexa0Lough.

As part of the Kingdom of Mourne Festival, Greencastle Area Residents group will be holding an exhibition called “Down Memory Lane” in Grange Primary School, Lurganconary Road, Kilkeelxa0on Monday 22 July (1.00-5.00pm), Tuesday 23 July (9-1.00pm and 5-8.00pm) and Wednesday 24 July (1-5.00pm).

The event is free of charge.

A Car boot sale will also take place on Tuesday 23 July from 9-1.00pm.
