The above photo shows the Eire Og U-10’s who lost in the semi final of the plate competition on Saturday at the Longstone tournament. The boys and girls gave a good account of themselves during the mornings games and showed some good potential in spells. Well done everyone. This was a thoroughly enjoyable tournament, Thank you to Longstone for the invitation to attend writes Catherine Kelly. 

The Eire Og U-12’s have no game until 24th July but training continues on a Tuesday evening at the Quarter Road pitch from 6.30 until 7.30. We have been invited to attend the Ambrose Rogers tournament in the Longstone on Saturday 16th July. Details will be given at training.

The Eire Og U-14’s faced Atticall in their first game of the top 4 play off on Monday 4th July. Match report next week. Training continues at Pats Road from 6.30pm until 7.30pm on a Wednesday evening.

The Eire Og U-16’s are away to An Riocht on Thursday night at 7.30pm.

Glasdrumman U-6 & U-8 training continues on a Sunday morning at the Quarter road pitch at 11am. These sessions are always well organised and good fun for the kids and new members will be most welcome.

A big thank you to everyone that supported club member Jemma Grant’s bake sale on Sunday. Jemma will fly out to Malawi on Saturday with 3 of her friends to build houses for those in need. Good luck to them and safe travels.

The first week of the Glasdrumman Walking Group was a huge success last Tuesday. Thank you to everyone who came along a supported us and those that helped in any way. It was encouraging to see such a good turnout. Hope to see you all on Tuesday at 6.30pm for our next walk. Everyone Welcome.

Club annual Golf Classic Friday 8th July in Kilkeel Golf Club. Please contact Dee Grant or any committee member for further details or to book a tee off time.

Still 2 left in Last Man Standing. Neither selected a winning team last week so both pick again this week.

This Thursday 7th July, the seniors are at home to Newry Shamrocks. Come along and support the them.
