The committee and members of Glasdrumman GAC deeply regret the death of Murtagh McVeigh, brother of our Child Protection Officer Carol Murphy, brother in law of committee member Liam Murphy and uncle of playing member Cormac Murphy and we tender our deepest sympathy to the entire McVeigh family circle on their sad loss.

Also, the committee and members of Glasdrumman GAC  extend our congratulations to Lorraine Mc Guinness(sister of former player Michael and current player  Stefan ) and Daniel Egan on their  recent marriage and wish them both a long and happy life together writes Tony Bannon.

Congratulations to Annette Grant on winning the Savoy Educational Trust award for 2014 at the Lions’ Award ceremony  in London  on Friday night . The under 12s had no match this week.  On Saturday they will take part in the Gary Murray Tournament in Clonduff, then on Sunday they have a league game away to An Riocht.  Arrangements for both will be confirmed at training.  Training continues on Thursday evening at Quarter Road pitch from 6pm until 7.30pm.

Gaelic for Mothers and Others returns to Glasdrumman at the Quarter Road pitch on   Tuesdays starting on the 10th June  at 7-00 p.m. This will replace the Tuesday night Keep Fit session at St.Mary’s Primary School so hope you can all make it.

The Club’s annual  Golf Classic will take place on Friday 4th  July at Kilkeel  Golf Club. For further information please contact  Damian Grant.

Well done to our Seniors for securing the first win  against our neighbours Attical at home on Friday Night. Patience, practice and perseverance finally starting to pay off. We wish Connaire Harrison well in his sojourn to the United States and look forward to his return to our ranks before season’s end.
