A special word of thanks to all the volunteers who helped at the Scor on Friday night with stewarding and tea making duties.. Also thanks to those who provided sandwiches and home baking for the event.  We are indebted to the committee and members of Glasdrumman A.O.H for the  use of their premises writes Tony Bannon.

In a very tight competition  our Solo  Singer  Antaine did the Club  proud  with his rendition of  ‘Carrickfergus’  unfortunately  this is far as he goes in this category this year.  After  a very hasty “rehearsal” in the interval  our Ballad Group made up of Antaine, Donna Feeney and newcomer to the competition  Declan Grant  took  to the stage and sang  ‘Will ye  go lassie go’ and ‘The Fields of Athenry’ and earned themselves a place in the South Down Final this Sunday 9  February in St. Mark’s Warrenpoint . Our Quiz team will be in action in the same venue at 3.00p.m.  and the rest of the Final will start at 5.00 p.m. It would be great to see as many supporters there as possible. We wish Shane, Connaire and the rest of the County team  well in the National League campaign .

Down draw tickets available at £10 per month from any committee members.
