Glasdrumman GAC Notes For 27 February 2017

Eire Óg U-12 training takes place on Sunday mornings at 11:00 am at The Quarter Rd in Glasdrumman writes Tony Bannon. It will be over at midday. There was a good turnout for the first session. Thanks to all for attending. New members are always welcome.

Eire Óg U-14 training will be taking place on Monday evenings. A text message with time and venue will be sent out during the week. Lists of fixtures for both teams available on:

Correction to last week’s notes:. Brogan O’ Hare ‘s name was missed from the list of our Down players. Apologies for the oversight.

Congratulations to our Club Referee Stephen O’Hare on passing his latest refereeing course with flying colours. Maith Thú a Stiofain.

Circuits continues on a Tuesday night in the clubrooms from 7.00 – 8.00pm with graham from acti sport!! All new faces welcome and suitable for all levels!! Great class for fitness and fun!!

Yoga on Monday nights from 8.30 p.m to 9.00 p.m . All welcome.

Our All-Ireland Champion Niamh McDowell has had a busy week . She sang at a special assembly for her school at St.Louis’s Grammar School in Kilkeel on Monday to a packed assembly hall. Her amazing performance is available to see and listen to on Youtube. She was also singing as a special guest at County Scór Sinsir Final in the Parish Centre where again she received a great reception.

Niamh also went around the Lower Mourne Primary Schools on Tuesday morning, starting in Moneydarragh, Glasdrumman and Ballymartin, where in all three greatly welcomed her and the All-Ireland cup.xa0She sang beautifully in each and the children were able to have their photographs taken with our All-Ireland champion.
