Glasdrumman GAC Notes For 25 February 2019

It was busy weekend at the club on Friday week ending the 18 Februaryxa0 which held a child protection and safeguarding course for our juvenile coaches and youth volunteers.xa0Thanks to UlsterGAA, OfficialDownGAA and Conor O’Toole for providing us with this important course.

Then on Saturday we had a foundation level coaching course.xa0 Again thanks to UlsterGAA, OfficialDownGAA & Ryan McShane for taking this course.

On behalf of Glasdrumman GAC, we would like to thank everyone for attending over the weekend. It was encouraging to see such a Great attendance.xa0 Thanks to Kevin Burns for co ordinating both these courses. And many thanks also to Aileen & Christinexa0 for the welcome refreshments.

GoGames Coaching for Pre-School & Primary School age children continues each Friday from 6.30pm-7.30pm at St Columban’s PS. Club Bus leaves Annalong at 6.10pm. New members very welcome. Registration is now open- Juvenile members £10, Family Membership £40. All juvenile members should be registered and membership paid before training or playing. Gym Membership at The Gym @ Glasdrumman is available @ £10 per month. This is a fully functioning Gym with 24/7 access to members & open to the whole community.

New block of Gym@GlasdrummanBootcamps start on Tue 26th (Mixed) at 8pm & Sat 2nd March (Ladies) at 9am for 8 weeks at a cost of £25. Limited spaces. Contact Colette on 07753863359 for gym membership all general gym enquiries.

Big congratulations to Donna Feeney who is now through to the Scor County Final which will take place on Friday 1st March!! Unfortunately Dave did not get through but big thanks for representing the club!

Awards night will take place in Quinns Bar,newcastle, on Saturday 2 March 2019. Contact any committee member or PM the Facebook page if you are going so we can get numbers. Everyone welcome!!
