Games Of Thrones Teams Up With Ulster Rugby

The world’s only official Game of Thrones Studio Tour has teamed up with Ulster Rugby – one of Ireland’s top professional rugby teams – for a one-of-a-kind experience that will bring the Iron Throne to fans in April and May.

Covering upcoming home games between Ulster and Welsh side Cardiff Rugby, Italy’s Benetton Rugby, and Irish rivals Leinster, the collaboration will see Game of Thrones Studio Tour bring the iconic Iron Throne to Kingspan Stadium in Belfast.

It will create a once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity and offer fans attending the game a chance to win Game of Thrones Studio Tour tickets and merchandise.

The visitor attraction, which recently celebrated its second birthday, will also provide an exclusive discount code for fans to experience the family-friendly world-class visitor attraction for themselves.

Situated along the Dublin-Belfast corridor, Game of Thrones Studio Tour invites guests to explore actual Game of Thrones film sets.

These sets include Kings Landings, Winterfell and Dragonstone, authentic screen-used props, over 150 stunning costumes, opulent weapons like the Catspaw Dagger and Long Claw, interactive screens.

And it includes various behind-the-scenes elements that contributed to the creation of the acclaimed HBO TV series.

The visitor attraction has also just launched a new daily Belfast coach service that will depart from the Visit Belfast Welcome Centre three times a day at 9.30am, 11am, and 2pm, while a Dublin coach service will leave once per day.

Sam Harding, Game of Thrones Studio Tour’s Managing Director said: “This is an exciting opportunity for Game of Thrones Studio Tour to be involved with the legendary Ulster Rugby brand and its team of local and international stars.

“While Game of Thrones Studio Tour and the sport of rugby may seem worlds apart, they share certain themes and elements that resonate with audiences, including loyalty, competition, resilience, and tradition. We look forward to bringing this connection to life at the iconic Kingspan Stadium.”
