Ford U-12's Pull Off Championship Win Against Carryduff

Bryansford U-12’s xa02-05 xa0Carryduff xa0 2-03 THE final of the Under-12 and half (Year 9) championship took place in a wet and windy Teconnaught pitch between Bryansford and Carryduff. [caption id="attachment_31072" align="alignleft" width="400" caption="The Bryansford U-12's celebrate in style after winning the championship beating Carryduff by two points."][/caption] Despite the terrible conditions both teams played with tremendous skill and determination. Bryansford, although having most of the possession, found scores hard to come by as the underfoot conditions at that side of the pitch were making life difficult. Carryduff also were showing admirable defensive qualities and broke a number of times up the field and it was on two of these occasions they managed to hit the net. Bryansford only managed to score 2 points in the first half and went to the changing rooms knowing the score rate would have to increase if they were to beat the Carryduff lads.

The second half panned out much like the first, however the Ford lads were now able to convert more of the chances they were creating and scored 2 goals and 3 points against the Belfast lads 3 points leaving two points between the teams at the final whistle 2-05 to 2-03.
