Fianna Fáil Praise Minister Of Infrastructure On Her Budget

Fianna Fáil said it was good to see a response to regional imbalance in Nichola Mallon’s budget.

Ógra Fhianna Fáil and Fianna Fáil wish to commend the excellent work done by Minister for Infrastructure Nichola Mallon MLA in preparing her Department’s budget for 2020-21.

Andrew McFadden, National Policy Director for Ógra, said: “We are particularly encouraged to see an increased focus on addressing regional imbalance, with financial commitments given to both the A5 and A6 road projects, and also to a feasibility study for Phase 3 of the Derry Railway Line upgrade.

“Minister Mallon has put greener forms of transport at the forefront of her budget, which will be essential as we recover from COVID-19.
We in Ógra look forward to continuing to work with Minister Mallon on these important issues.

“Both Fianna Fáil and the SDLP are committed to delivering first class infrastructure across Ireland, and to truly building “An Ireland for All.”
