Workshops in the Down Arts Centre in Downpatrick include Reuse and Restyle Workshop, on Saturday 11 February, so join in for this useful workshop learning how to up-cycle your clothes.

In the Reuse and Restyle workshop you will learn how to re vamp old jeans and give them a new lease of life by creating a stylish bag.

Saturday 18 February – Make a Leather Belt Workshop, come along and make and decorate a vegetable dyed belt.

You will be turning a piece of vegetable tanned leather into a unique hand tooled and dyed leather belt, the colours available are glorious, and patterns are very stylish

Saturday 25 February – Recycle Fabric using Log Cabin Patchwork Techniques, log cabin is a wonderful way to use up small pieces of fabric.

And you can achieve many possibilities for creating quilts and cushion covers using design grids.

All workshops are in Down County Museum from 10am – 4pm and cost £55/£50 concession and include a sandwich lunch.

A Room of One’s Own produced by the award-winning Dyad Productions returns with Virginia Woolfe’s celebrated exploration of the impact of social inequality on creativity; a wry, amusing, and incisive trip through history.
