“We have an amazing 3,000 pumpkins to choose from!xa0 Scoop out the inside and draw your pumpkin design before taking your pumpkin to our expert carvers who will complete the finished look.xa0 Then jump on board our tractor pulled people carrier to the farmyard where you will meet the legendary Castle Ward Pumpkin People.xa0 This year they need your help to solve clues at their murder mystery dinner – adults may need to be accompanied by small children! All this and an extensive display of local crafts and National Trust gift shop ranges will entice you to take home a souvenir from the day. “Go back in time with a Horse and Carriage ride (weather permitting) to the house which will be open free to everyone on the day.xa0 The second-hand book shop and gift shop will open from 11am so you can browse before the crowds arrive.” You could make this an autumn treat for the whole family. thPumpkinfest runs from 12pm until 5pm on Saturday 15th xa0Sunday 16th October.
