COUNCILLOR Patrick Clarke Alliance) has congratulated the organisers of the recent very successful ‘Dundrum Information Evening’ which was held in St. Donard’s Hall, Main Street, Dundrum on Tuesday 17 September.
He said:xa0“I would like to thank and commend both Dundrum Village Association and Dundrum Development Association for organising the recent very successful ‘Dundrum Information Evening’.xa0The event was a great opportunity for the various local community, voluntary, sporting, activity, environmental, and other organisations in Dundrum to meet and engage with the residents of Dundrum about their work and various activities.
“It was very encouraging to see the venue was very well attended over the two hour period from 7-9pm. Parents and children gathered information at the various desks and also joined some of the clubs present.
“Both Dundrum Village Association and Dundrum Development Association members were also on hand to outline their recent work in the village as well as answer questions and gather feedback on the work both organisations have been doing in Dundrum Village.
“There was also a lot of useful suggestions submitted from members of the public which both Dundrum Village Association and Dundrum Development Association will use in their ongoing work within Dundrum village.”
