Dundrum GP Receives Honorary Fellowship

THE former Dundrum GP Kieran Walsh has been recognised as one of the area’s top health professionals in diabetes and has received an honorary fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.

He has been congratulated by Alliance Councillor Patrick Clarke who said:xa0″Dr. Walshe has received an honorary fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in recognition of his three decades of work with diabetics. Hexa0has dedicated most of his working life to improving the lives of those with diabetes in his area and has worked tirelessly carrying out research in trialling blood sugar monitoring and insulin pumps.

“Dr. Walshe has not only been a dedicated GP serving the local community for over 24 years but he continues his work in the field of diabetes treatment putting patients first.”

“It is therefore very fitting that such a prestigious accolade has been presented recognising his innovations in both primary and secondary care over the last 30 years.”
