Alliance Councillor Patrick Clarke has welcomed confirmation received from DRD Roads Service that a number of blocked road gullies along Circular Road in Castlewellan will be cleaned in early April following complaints received from local constituents.
He said: xa0“Following a number of complaints from local residents I contacted DRD Roads Service who have confirmed that the road gullies on Circular Road in Castlewellan were inspected on 24 March.xa0Problems were identified with four road gullies on Circular Road.
“These gullies on Circular Road will now be cleaned and jetted early in the April 2014 in order to address those worst affected and blocked.”
“I would like to thank DRD Roads Service for their prompt action following my representations due to the complaints I had received.”
