Downpatrick Woman Beaten By Gun At Demesne By Two Men

Detectives in Downpatrick are appealing for information following an assault that occurred in the Demesne Crescent area in the town in the early hours of Thursday 10 October.At approximatelyxa04am, a 27-year old woman was threatened and assaulted by two men outside her home. One of the men was armed with a suspected firearm and he threatened her. The other man assaulted her by hitting her twice on the head.xa0 The two men were both dressed in black and wore black masks over their faces. One of the men is described as being approximately 5-feet 8-inches tall and of medium build while the other is described as being approximately 6-feet tall and of medium build.
