Eva Rodgers, a 6-year girl from from Downpatrick and a pupil at St Brigid’s Primary School in the town, has never had her hair cut before so it was a question ‘hair today gone tomorrow’ as she took the inevitable plunge and did the necessary while raising funds for a favourite charity.
As a great fundraising gesture, she decided to donate 15 inches of her hair to The Princess Trust… along with £265 that she raised. Downpatrick hair stylist Michael Dryden ‘Michael and Francines’ salon on St Patrick’s Avenue cut her hair on Wednesday 25 November 2015 free of charge and also made a very kind donation.
The total sponsorship has been sent to The Princess Trust.
