The South Eastern HSC Trust has given the Fountain Foodbank a financial lift just before Christmas

Staff from the Planning, Performance and ICT Directorate across the South Eastern Trust area demonstrated their commitment to those most in need by organising a successful collection drive for The Fountain Foodbank in Downpatrick, during their annual Christmas Celebration event. 

The generous contributions from staff across the Directorate raised a remarkable £1100 for the local food bank.

The Christmas Celebration event brought together members of the Directorate, to celebrate the festive season. 

In the spirit of giving back, the Directorate took the opportunity to support The Fountain Foodbank, recognising the importance of supporting the local community, especially during the holiday season.

The collected funds totalling £1100, will play a crucial role in supporting The Fountain Foodbank’s mission to provide essential resources and assistance to those in need within the community.

Assistant Director of Performance and Service Improvement, Emma Hannaway said: “We are delighted to have had the opportunity to contribute to The Fountain Foodbank and support the incredible work they do for our community. 

“The generosity shown by staff within the Directorate reflects our commitment to making a positive impact. 

“Together we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing challenges, especially during Christmas time.”
