Downpatrick FC Club Notes For 11 November 2019

Club Notes – Week Beginning 11/11/19

  • This Saturday Downpatrick FC welcomes Albert Foundry to Rosconnor on Saturday in a NAFL Division One league match. The kick off is at 2.00pm.
  • The Under 19’s played North End United last Saturday morning in unbelievable bad weather conditions, losing 4 – 1. Downpatrick’s goal was scored by Ethan Breen. This Wednesday they play Rathcoole and this game kicks off at 8.10pm at the Crumlin 3G pitch. They then play Albert Foundry on Friday night at the Hammer 3G pitch with an 8.10pm Kick Off. A busy time for them!
Downpatrick juniors enjoy a Saturday kick around ay the Mini Soccer at the Red High pitches.
  • The Downpatrick 16’s play Celtic Bhoys in Dunleath at 9.30am after last weekend’s wash out.
  • The Under 14’s have a free week this Saturday.
  • The Under 13’s also have a free week this Saturday.
  • No fixture has been announced yet for the Under 13’s due to the transfer tests, we would like to take this opportunity to wish all those taking part the very best of luck.
  • The Under 11’s play Castlewellan Forest this Saturday in Dunleath at 9.50am.
  • The link for all teams training and match dues has now been shared on the individual group pages, it is important that everyone signs up before Friday evening in order for their first payment to come out in October.]
The Downpatrick juniors braving the cold weather during the Mini Soccer session held at the Red High.
  • Training for our 2014 & 2015 (must be in Primary School) age groups begin this Monday night in the De La Salle sports hall from 6.00pm – 7.00pm, entry is via the Red High 3G. Please note players are required to wear trainers and shin guards and bring a bottle of water.
  • Training for the following age groups is as follows: 2011’s, 2012’s & 2013’s is on a Monday night from 6.00 – 7.00pm at the 3G Pitch in the Red High.
